2nd Annual Whole Body Detox Workshop & Cleanse
***Due to current heath concerns with Covid-19 we have decided to cancel the detox workshop and cleanse. We look forward to offering this again in the future. If you are interested in doing a cleanse right now, please feel free to book an appointment with Dr.Dacyshyn or Dr.Trieu to discuss.***
Spring will be here soon and it’s a good time to prepare for some spring cleaning! Detoxes are a great way to kick-start your way to better health, but with the vast (and conflicting) information all over social media, do you find yourself wondering if you really need one?
Naturopathic doctors, Dr. Janice Dacyshyn and Dr. Janet Trieu want to guide you through the sea of information, helping to demystify detoxes and weighing in on current detox programs that are popular. At the 2-hour workshop, you will also learn how to support your bodies’ natural detoxification process using nutrition, herbs and botanicals, homeopathics and more! After we will support and inspire each other as we put what we learn into action for our community cleanse.

Do I really need one?
Did you know that we come into this world with a toxic burden? Detectable levels of environmental chemical such as flame retardants, PCB’s and organochlorine pesticides have been found in the cord blood of some newborns, according to the report by Environmental Defence. Read more here.
Everyday lives include daily exposure to multiple toxins and hormone disrupting ingredients, including our face creams, shampoos, air fresheners, dryer sheets, plastic water bottles. 80% of our cosmetics have the “dirty dozen” of endocrine disruptors in them! Read more here.
As you age, our ability to naturally remove toxins in our bodies decreases
Does the detox protocol have to be very restrictive and include lots of stomach upset?
No! Even mild cleansing can still be very beneficial. This can be as simple as decreasing certain foods that are hard to process or hard on the liver and increasing foods that aid in detoxification pathways like leafy greens and milk thistle.
We look forward to empowering you to reach the best version of yourself this spring!
Yours in health,
